Oolite Bulletins

Mine is 2,5 GB to be precise I voted 3.

Mine is 2.3, but I have some OXPs that are disabled. Voted 3GB, as i interpreted that to mean between 2 and 3.

Depends on what you mean with 'Oolite install'.

Only Oolite.app? That shouldn't change once you've installed it (exactly 31.467.317 Byte for Oolite Mac 1.74.2, according to the Finder).

Or the complete contents of the folder Oolite.app resides in? Which in my case includes all OXPs I've ever downloaded in an extra folder, the actually installed OXPs copied into my AddOns folder, my save-games, my Development folder with all versions of all OXPs I've ever done plus additional files, a Documentation folder with—among other things—local copies of all EliteWiki pages in the scripting category, the novels and stories I've downloaded, the screenshots I've kept, and some other stuff (currently exactly 1.108.815.648 Byte).

Or should I also count the still-existing installs of Oolite 1.01, Oolite 1.14, and Oolite 1.65 (the latter with basically the same subfolder structure than 1.74.2, except that all subfolder are much less populated)? I have them collected in a folder named 'Archäoolite' (exactly 275.464.053 Byte as I look).

Anyway, the combined total of all that is less than 1.5GB.

I mean Oolite, and Add ons folder.

I've just been for the first time in a Salvage Gang. I've had Anarchies downloaded a long time ago but not properly installed. I like the entrance tunnel. More OXP makes should do that

Not including OXPs. :-)

I just have to ask, is that including your build environment and the multiple versions I'm sure you have.

Under 1 GB, including OXP's.

Mine is about 4G, but a lot of that is from having two separate full installations so they can each have a unique set of OXPs.

About another gig's worth in supplemental materials, mostly on another machine that serves as the "ship's computer".

Yes, including object files.

The build directory, after building all three configurations (Debug, Deployment and TestRelease) for three architectures (totalling five Oolite apps, five debug OXPs etc) is 1.32 GB. I currently have trunk, branches/1.74-maintenance, tags/1.74 and tags/1.74.2 checked out, plus a second clean copy of trunk built in every configuration; most of the others just have a single-architecture debug build.

A fresh trunk check-out is 208.6 MB before building; the Mac build process then downloads 87.1 MB of additional source code and binaries. (Some of the corresponding binaries are currently checked into the repo as binaries for other platforms; the Linux-deps and Windows-x86-deps directories are 82.4 MB of the 208.6 MB.)

For a simple game from the eighties, Oolite is pretty big. :-)

190 MB. That's 1.74.2 install plus a bit of OXPs, including Realistic Shipyards I have saved from when they were available... BTW any chance of being able to download it again?

188MB for me ... mostly Griff's ships, I have to say! And worth every electron ...

1,74 GB, but 468,3 MB of that are deactivated OXPs and zips I'm going to move to an external HD.
