And for the G-HUD: A quick and simple search with the board's search tool got me to this thread, and from there to this Wiki user page, note especially the "My OXP's (Released)"-section.

From there the answer seems pretty straightforward.

Both oosat.alioth.net and oldsat.alioth.net have not been reachable the past days--are they now gone for good? Or is the DNS playing tricks on me?

I can't get to oosat2 via its DNS but its IP works for me:

This takes me to the "Oolite Debian Package Repository", not Oosat2. Or do I have to append some path?

No, you're right, and I'm an idiot who wasn't paying attention to the page I was taken to when I followed the link from Whois...

So, to confirm, you're right - Oosat2 appears to be unreachable.

I've just stumbled about a wpb.oxp (witch point beacon) on OoSat. Does anybody know who created it?

Hi,

I know it's an older thread but this seems to me the closest. So my question is not directly concerned about old OXP etc. (the current Wiki has all and more I ever could wish except one that seems to be my duty to create it ;).

I'd like to know why the first game start description (probably a README) still contains oosat.alioth.net even in the latest version. I'd appreciate a removal until the final release to not confuse newcomers too much.

Thanks!

Well, I guess that shows how few people read that far down the readme file in the installer.

Fixed in r5620. Thanks.
