Yep. Reaffirms my expectation that flight into space will be something that I can still experience without finding the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow first. Just give it a few decades.

Whatever happened to Virgin offering high orbit flights around the world or whatever it was they were going to do? I thought trips to moon would be only a few years behind that!

I guess Space exploration is slow and expensive business at the moment. Oh well, maybe when I'm 80, I'll be able to look back and see Earth from an orbiting Coriolis.

sad thing is, i'm gonna be dead before things are really underway (say, 50 years on).

I won't live to be 1000 years old, but I feel that way some times

Only 962 years left.

So far I was only aiming for 120, but ok, why not 1000

I knew I wasn't completely losing my mind! I don't want to die a Space virgin!
