Hiya.
I was docked in a frontloading Behemoth in wichspace last night, and for some reason [1] launch button wouldn't work. any ideas?

Could be the Oolite froze.

There is a glitch when docking with anything in witchspace: when you launch again, your station/carrier has miraculously moved to the closest adjacent system. If Oolite encountered a bug during this transfer, you could be stuck. Maybe that's what happened to you.

Good news on the interstellar docking front: up to now, anything you dock to will jump to the nearest system a split second before you launch.

As of a few trunk builds ago, this 'magic' behaviour can be switched off using a shipdata flag. All going well, you'll be able to have a slightly more consistent Ooniverse in 1.75... :)

More than once, I've docked with a Behemoth in interstellar space after fighting Thargoids. Sometimes (usually) it works to dump me out at either system (1 I started from or 1 I wanted to go to). Other times, the game just freezes when I try to launch.
...So you're not alone.

Carrying extra 3 LY fuel tanks can remove the need to hitch-hike...but almost nothing has enough missile slots to do this.

Oh, i had enough fuel, i was just poking around for good prices on stuff.
you can double your money by selling Q bombs.
not that i'd ever get involved in arms trading or anything, you understand!
