PS Plugins

Okay guys, I need some help finding something I REALLY want.
I want / need a Photoshop (or GIMP, but prefer PS) plugin that will do Equirectangular to Cubic projection conversion and the reverse. And before someone says something - Yes, I know about Planettool. It's nice, but is HORRIBLY (talking HOURS) disruptive to my workflow. I want something INSIDE Photoshop so I don't have to merge the layers in question, feed it through Planettool. Open the resulting PNG in Photoshop. Do my edits. Resave as a PNG. Reconvert through Planettool, and then import back into my original photoshop file.
Please, someone help me find one. Or write one. I'm willing to pay (a modest amount). But this process is PAINFUL right now.
