I've got a short story to write for my writer's circle. I've promised myself I'll try and do 500 words a day on my (non-oolite) novel. Blogging, maintaining the jonnie rocket website and RL(tm) in general has massively curtailed my oolite short story output. Plenty of ideas - little/no time to do...

I, on the other hand, have a problem with the clutch on my rear ... I do have an idea (and even a title!) but no actual words yet. Must Try Harder ...

I have been kinda busy and didn't get to play Oolite for some time, so I have nothing to write about...but that could change soon.

The ‘slayer of hermits’ requests more fiction. Cognizant of the golden rule in this life, (i.e. what the lady wants, the lady usually gets), this old codger fires up his word processor and stares for a while at a blank screen… then opens a ‘wip’, currently stalled by RL and the release of Oolite 1.74. Mmm… long way to go.

"The clutch on my rear"! Omigod, that is such a fantastic phrase! I've had a problem with mine for positively
years, but until now I didn't know a good way to describe it. Now I do!
I salute you, sir.

Sorry Rebecca! No spare time at the moment. I'm consumed with trying to finish a non-oolite novel at the moment.
Small possibility I'll get back to writing something for Oolite towards the end of the year.
Cheers,
Drew.

If there's such a demand, I might think about writing again

Go for it Corny!
To be fair, I have plotted out the third part of my Trilogy which would round off Status Quo and Mutabilis. (There are hints at the end of the current books in the Epilogue)
The working title is 'Incursio', which hopefully gives a clue.
I haven't started writing it though.
Perhaps 2011!
Cheers,
Drew.

I am glad to see you are keeping up with your musical references

It's all Latin as far as I'm concerned (I studied it at O-level).
Status Quo = The way things were before
Mutabilis = Change / Changeable
Incursio = Invasion / Attack
Cheers,
Drew.

First I have to read yours... and then I probably should finish my own Crew Soundpack first before starting other Oolite projects.
But that doesn't keep me from collecting ideas for story and character, of course

Hey Rebecca, perhaps you can put a tall tale to pen.
The details of combat with aggressive hermits might be a good place to start.
