hey. The Man took away my internet for nearly a week, and meanwhile you are discussing Bud Spencer

Ill mail you that box, Giles, although it's a spinnin' Wingsobject and not a pic. do what you can make of it.

@ the pedantic Jaybee, I'm with Rubinstein on the stasis theory, maybe aided by a little respiration tank while in adorable cryosleep.

Reviving that old topic : So, is there any way to create other pets through oxp ? and add interactions ?
Or trumbles are allready enough.

What we really need is some equipment to deal with the trumbles.

-cages (Get out of the hold!)
-hobby trumble magazine subscription (how to cross breed!)
-breeding pen
-trumb-L-prod(tm) (use mousepointer to wipe away the critters into the screen corner)
-sterilising procedure (no! not the sun, the gonads etc)
-trumble treats (Good for your karma)

One should be well prepared when starting a trumble collection, for when they get loose in the ships pantry, you will either have to sterilise yer vessel or buy n cages to contain them!

I like the trumb-L-Prod (tm) best.
Also the treats; would be usefull in interacting with your Trumble(R).

a more technical concern though:

did anyone notice a reduction in cargospace when populationlevels were excessively high?

I didn't, at a certain point it became impossible to aim a laser, so I killed them.

'Trumbles on the bridge' should be a measure of the percentage of cargohold congestion (to allow for other cargohold sizes)

If the relation would be absolute, small craft would find little trouble, while an anaconda's viewscreen would give any PC/mac's serious trouble.

So you're suggesting that every trumble you see on screen should represent a greater number within your cargohold that you can't see, relative to ship size?

Thanks a lot, the nightmares alone are gonna lose me a lot of sleep.

To paraphrase groundskeeper Willie, "Och! Save me from the wee trumbles, they were too quick for me!"

Not really a suggestion, more a bug report. (maybe)
They used to fill your cargohold after a while on the C64 version.
