Oolite Bulletins

Hi guys, having returned to Oolite after 6 months I find my system is running in 'extreme quiet mode' with next to no sounds after a commander is loaded. I must have switched sounds off by mistake. Any advice on what to do to switch them on again?

sorry for the simple question but I am not enjoying fighting when you cannot hear your shots hitting a target!

Any radical developments since last October?

If you are inflight pause the game (P).
Step to the Options (F2)
then choose Game Options (via Cursor Up/Down and Return).
Change the Sound Volume (Cursor right, Cursor left to adjust).

And if you are at it check the music mode too.

A few!
There's a couple of developments I'm really pleased with, but to cut a potentially boring story short, Oolite is now a lot more moddable and a lot more scriptable than before!

Who knows, we might even have a 1.74 release in the not-too-distant future!
