Have a ship idea?

So here are my concepts for this week:



Concept 1

Ceintech Frigate
Concept of a little war-frigate. Probably a little bigger than a little bulk hauler. I made only a topview. It should be round and flat (like the dish from enterprise). It has 4 turrets so it should serve the role of an escort frigate.


Concept 2

Zephyr Startrain (an old concept posted earlier one)

Probably a VIP carrier. For presidents and such.

Croydon Starsoarer



Croydon enters the market with a new fighter trader

The Croyden looks very cool sticks to original Elite style very nice

I love the Croydon as said above it fits in the Elite mould beautifully.

I did have the idea of a toroidal ship about the size of a Cobra, with very strong shields (for topological reasons).

Make a drawing of it . Looking fwd to see some other concepts

I had the idea of a flock of ships based on birds. In the line Crow (escort) - Raven (hauler) - Roc (mothership)

Untill now I came to this:


That was a month ago. Maybe in a year or so, when RL calms down.

That certainly looks like a bird. Interesting concept to make a series based on bird. Although we already got the Eagle from Frontier. But that ship doesn't look really like a bird.

Is this a model or a drawing?
Looks like it's already in Oolite.

Just beware - that's kinda how I started off with Aquatics and sea creatures, and now look at my OXP back-catalogue

A command carrier (3 times as broad as a Behemoth) based on the cobra shape. Docking is from the rear. Launching from the front.

Awesome work, pagroove.. only thing is, whenever I look at this one, I see a Robo-Teddy-Bear..

OK, you got me, it's not exactly a concept, it's a model. But it's not finished . The other ships are not even in concept stage, just ideas. Will try to do a top view drawing of them when commuting in the train this week.

Well I think so. If you look at the Superhub which has the bleu orb inside then I assume if would be possible. Anyone want to take the modelling challenge ?
