Oolite Bulletins

I've just downloaded winrar because I want to get some OXPs on my game. However I have no idea what I'm doing when I go to the OXP pages. It's all in jargon and I'm totally lost.
Could someone please give me a step by step guide of how to download an OXP.

Hmmm, I'm going to make 2 assumptions here:

1) you know how to actually download files.
2) you're using windows (since you're using winrar, it's not a huge assumption to make!).

once you've got 'whatever.zip', the first step is to extract everything all at once. It should offer you the possibility to save it to a directory called 'whatever' (i.e. the directory is called the same as the zip file)

now you have the 'whatever' directory, which should contain the 'whatever.oxp'

open a second explorer window, and go to C:\Oolite\AddOns

grab the 'whatever.oxp' directory icon - the one you'll see inside the 'whatever' directory - and drop it inside C:\Oolite\AddOns

That's it. Job done.

Restart Oolite, and it'll find the 'whatever' oxp!
