Oolite Bulletins

Im sure this has been discussed in some thread allready but I could not find it.

Im running Oolite 1.74 test release, and the Elitewiki page for Thargoid wars states:

"Download Thargoid Wars v.4.3 Updated to V4.3 on 21th December 2008. (For all Oolite versions)
Download Thargoid Wars v.4.4 Updated to V 4.4 on 24th December 2009. (works only with Oolite 1.73)

A version for future Oolite 1.74+ is already created but will only made available after an official Oolite 1.74 release. "

v.4.3 for all versions ? Does it run with the 1.74 test?

Maybe Im just stupid :? Sorry for the N00b question.

There is no 1.74 test release yet, so logically you can’t be running it.

Yes, You are right. Im running 1.73.4 test release, Lol..

I would use v4.4 (4.3 is there for backward compatibility)!

You can use 4.4 but than you must edit the internal requires.plist (Not advisable, it will run without problems, but with many deprecation messages in the log).

There is a link to a version 4.5beta somewhere on this board under a new mission page topic, but I will not place that link on the wiki until we have a final 1.74 release.

Eric, read his second post. He isn't on trunk, but on 1.73.4.
