Greetigs to all commanders out there,

I've installed oolite 1.73.3 on XP. I know, that my joystick (Saitek X52) works in oolite. The only problem is, that the throttle will not increase/decrease speed.
It worked in an older oolite-version
The joystick itself is okay.

Maybe there is one out (near Lave  ) who can help me :?: ...maybe with an "oolite.pro"-file for x52

mayday mayday mayday

Damn, I'm getting old :(

Forgot to go to settings

Now everything works fine!

...well, and it's version 1.72.2 I'm playing, because 1.73 has unreadable text

Try running it from Start->Run... with the -nosplash parameter.

Now that you know it works, here's a way to make it easier.

Go the the Oolite launch icon in your start menu, right-click on it and select 'Properties'. The 'Target' text-box should already be highlighted. Click on the end of the line after the word 'oolite.exe' (otherwise the text will be deleted when you start typing), press the spacebar once, then add -nosplash to the line, then click the 'OK' button.

Now you can launch the game in nosplash mode with just one click, especially if you now right-click the icon again and choose Send To > Desktop (create shortcut)
