Hi,

In Trident down, I've been asked to assassinate a someone, I've scoped the bomb and jetted across the galaxy to the required station, there I've received the text telling me that the bomb has been planted on his ship, I exit the station and sit and watch his ship, but nothing happens.

So being the impatient type I decide to take matters into my own hands and attack and destroy the ship (and all launched escape capsules).

Thing is the mission screen still tells me to go to said station and perform assassination.

Have I missed something?

If so what do I need to tweak in the save game file to redo this bit of Trident down.

OK Just seen solution (in a fashion) on alternate trident down thread. Problem is i don't have a recent save game to go back to. So could you tell me which varible i need to set in the save game in order to be able to dock again and get the message about the bomb being planted - ill then be able to exit, pick up the trigger and knock the guy off

Find the bit in the save game with the key 'Trident Down' and replace the string with:

<string>mission_trident_down equal ASSAULTAFTERMATH4</string>

Return to Raceedat and you'll get the briefing again.

Looking at the shipdata I realise I only gave Bodarenko's ship a max energy of a few thousand, which is not much given the range of weaponry available these days.

I decided to check out other possible story lines.
So I got recruited by the Racedat secret police for accomplishing a delicate job.
I manged to (ex)terminate Ezra Athesdottir and Benedict Playfair but the thrid agent Lars Jenssen did never show up at Ergeso.

I visited the Ergeso Hoopy Casino several times but nothing happened (no reaction!)
Normally, when I visit a Casino I get a gambling offer. But that doesn't happen.
I checked the sector around the Casino and I even landed on Ergeso Prime but I had no success.

Any hints or ideas?


Btw. Trident down sometimes seems to collide with the UPS OXP.

You may be missing a dependent OXP - Jenssen is an Adder Mk2, which comes from the Marrett Space Corporation add-on. If everything's working correctly he should be flying near the casino when you arrive.

Hello, I am having the same issue as Sisela. I travel to the casino at Ergeso and Jenssen doesn't appear. I didn't have the Marrett Space Corporation add-on, but have since installed it and still no Jenssen. When I first went into the casino it told me that there were no tables available, but then still let me gamble. I have left the system and returned and still no Jenssen.

I have the Long Range Scanner installed, and checking the system contents reveals that Jenssen is not in the system. Is there something else that I am missing? Is there a script that I can add to complete the assassination?
