What do I think about this?
Well for so long, Frontier have said so little about Elite IV. Now with a quick response to a tweet about it, I think that they are thinking about it!
Maybe they are working on it?
What do you all think?

Until I hold it in my greasy paws it will remain vapourware - and, unless it is the greatest space trading sim in the universe it will not have been worth the wait and will not oust Oolite from being the best Elite-like game available.

We don't care. We don't have time for that, because we are busy playing/developing/modding Oolite.

They have been "working on it" and even had release dates sprinkled over most of the last decade. Even a playable demo wouldnt make me think it was any closer.
I hope it is released, and soon. But none of this makes me think its close. Quite the reverse, I dont even see then talking it up, telling us hey take a look at a new elite4 webpage or anything.

Elite 4 is like the cake: It's a lie.

Or indeed, like the the spoon: "There is no spoon."

All things considered, given certain aspects of the Elite Series history, I imagine they are being closed-mouthed and secretive no matter what really happens at resolution.

Then he's twice as strange.. paws instead of hoofs and looks like a bird.

The greasy paws are the only bit of my favourite meal I won't eat...

the game is like Duke Nukem forever, I wasn't holding my brath for that game, and certainly not holding my breath for elite 4, beside, I think many fans will expect too much from it, and that its probably can't be done with the level of computer power, maybe in 20 years
but anyway, Im not interested,

I'm playing an awesome version that is available for free, so I don't know if I'll pay $40 or so for a similar game, maybe out of sheer curiousity, but more likely I'll wait for someone else to play it first and then be unimpressed by the review.

I hope they don't make an mmorpg of it, or keep it as an option.
