The Aurora
------------------
Rarely the traveler in the Ooniverse has the chance to spot the mighty Auroa Megacruiser. With a length of 4.3. kilometer and about 800 meters in height it really is a mobile world capable of supporting 500.000 souls in a standard setting. Transportation takes place by high speed people/alien movers. The Aurora surprisingly does not support a public ship dock.
The dock masters of the Aurora want to now exactly who is on board. The waiting list for a place on one of the Ooniverses' 100 Aurora's is almost 10 years.

facilities
On board the passengers are treated with a wealth of facilities. From shopping malls to hospitals, a public central park, A botanic gardens and hotels. Passengers travel for more than a year on the ship. In it's travel it takes passengers to all the 8 galaxies.

Engines
4 GASEC SR-GD's(Space Rotary Galactic Drive) take the ship to 0.24 LM which is quite fast for such a large ships but hence we are talking about engines with a 200 meter wide engine tube.

safety
It's a safe ship but it still can be nuked or Q-bombed (energy=3500) so expect it to be escorted by quite a large fleet. In case of an emergency a large lifeboat fleet can evacuate the richest passengers.

Encountering the ship gets very rare if you have lot's of transporters, big traders and other ships installed. After a week I saw one. Well not literary one week but each night I played one hour or so. So it took about 7 hours.

Of course the chance of meeting the ship is only in stable high tech level systems. To see the ship jump out is very rare. But then you can enjoy a
wormhole. with a diameter of 15 to 20 kilometer.

Did anyone encounter one?
Me still once (after I deleted the spawn script that is). Chance of meeting is very low.

Any other pics of this ship? The original one is confusing for the eye, and the ones linked here are too small...
Did i really need to quote that? Yes! Quote snowballs are fun!

Saw one! Noticed it because the game got all laggy and there was some biiig angular shape seen in the distance.
I resized the diffuse textures to 512x512, maybe that helps.

Edit: Nope, doesn't. :?

I also saw two at once. I dropped a q-mine on one and shot the engines on the other and scooped the passengers to be sold as slaves. Still I didn't get a speck on my legal status. Clean as a whistle.

You wont have your criminal record effected unless you are spotted by GalCop Police. It's a little odd that it works that way as obviusly the survivors would of talked, but that's just how the game works.

Ok, I thought it was enough that other ships saw it.
