Seems to be quite dark here.
In town the scale goes up to blue and even green (3-4), but all around it's black, black, black (1)...
And indeed, even from in front of our house I usually see the Milky Way in all its beauty.

Oooooooh, envy!
Has been years since I've seen the Milky Way.... (I don't travel that much)

Yeah, heard about that a couple of weeks back. Very nice too. We're hoping planning a camping trip up there.... TURN THAT LIGHT OFF!
Cheers,
Drew.

What do you expect? I'm living on the
black continent, after all. And not too far from the
Heart of Darkness.

Distance is relative and all that, but isn’t Uganda sort of in the way? :-)

No. Actually it's Rwanda which is in the way. And somehow this is sad, because one could rightfully say that it has a claim to be the heart of darkness in its own right...

Oh yes. Why did I think you were in Kenya? It’s *rolls dice* Griff’s fault!

Never mind.
Sometimes even my browser thinks it's in Kenya. I don't know how these fancy personalized adds are produced. Based on IP, or on what? Anyway, I always got those for Nairobi. Also visitors counters on websites always placed me to Kenya (for instance on
this site, which I sometimes visit). I guess it has something to do with where
our satellite ISP has its servers?
Anyway, recently our connection has somehow changed (the old satellite was too busy or somesuch), and since that day YouTube is offering me its
italian localization.
Weird.
