Oolite Bulletins

I found it hard to tell if I was hitting the target, so I modified the laserhits.ogg sound by adding some crackle thus making more contrast between hit / miss.

The game sounds are located in:
Oolite\oolite.app\Resources\Sounds

Just rename the original (in case you want to go back) and drop the new file in this directory.

Definately gives it more crackle

Beter is to create a "Sounds" folder inside your normal addOns folder. Then drop your file in here. Oolite than will use this one instead of the one inside Oolite. And you keep your custom sounds when updating Oolite.

A is the right one. It also works for a "Textures" folder to add custom skins for oolite ships or even oxp ships without modifying the originals. And it works for the "Config" folder to include special addition scripts or modifications from shipdata without messing with the originals.

(I am 90% sure it works, but I am on a mac. There the addOns folder is not inside Oolite but in the same folder as Oolite is installed.)

It should be sufficient just to drop it in the AddOns folder.
