It's even more gorgeous than the preview shots that have been whizzing around via PM between Svengali, myself, Drew and Disembodied.
Hope you have as much fun using it as we did creating it!

BTW, the plan is (well mine is at least) that this will be the first of eight versions of Snoopers - eventually you'll have one with news specific to which chart you're in, you just swap in the right version of Snoopers for the chart you're currently whizzing around.
Right - 56 news items down, many, many hundreds to go...
I'd also just like to offer a big thank-you to Svengali - I wanted to do this oxp many many years ago, just after I joined the forum actually, but under the old scripting system the number of variables required would have overloaded Oolite and stuffed up the save file - so it's nice to have a dream come true!

Don't know. We are ad-free. Currently. You know that market is always changing so fast.

No, it works in all galaxies. It needs time to get the newsflashes and if you can't get enough change the settings .-)

Just d/l this pm. Currently in gal8 & despite 8 jumps no messages- Unless i'm supposed to press F* key to read them...
Is it just for gal 1???

Snoopers doesn't care what chart you're in - but at the moment all the news is written specifically with systems from Chart 1 in mind - hence my comment that there will eventually be a Snoopers specific to each chart - but from a news point of view only - Snoopers will work wherever you are - but at the moment even if you're in Chart 5 you will get news about Lave, Zaonce, Onrira, Tianve etc...
If you want to prove it works alter the script values as per the read me to have a much higher chance of occuring (currently 0.2) with a shorter max time delay between news items.
