I’d put that on the first page of the Oolite manual as a mood setter. It's brilliant.

Hm. While it's brilliant, it probably requires too much insider knowledge to fully appreciate.

There is enough Oolite fiction around. Why not for instance putting the Virtuous Misfortune in the manual, which was actually written for the very purpose of being an opener and scene-setter?
