The Blessed freudian slip of the Black Monks

In the Non Shader version of Black Monks OXP,
it says don;t try to get rid of the homing beacon because the scared nanobots will simply reinstall it. I think that should be the sacred nanobots, but I could be wrong ....

Nanobots are known for their nervous disposition (and their hoopy accountants).

I did manage once to damage my homing beacon, does that allow you to keep the 20,000 cr without being followed around by black monk gunships everywhere you go? I couldn't save because I was gawking at one of the new ships I installed just as it started opening fire (it was a beautiful ship[Griff is a shader king!]) and I rammed into it by accident. The broken homing beacon came from the laser fire before the unfortunate accident.
