lost my save: set missions...?

Post by pescenaufrago »

Hello!
1 years ago I lost my save file. I'm going to restart again but I'd like to set as done some missions I completed, like Ionics, Constrictor hunt and Trumbles.

Anyone can suggest wich parameters I have to modify and how?

Thank you in advance!

Well, I could share this information, but where's the fun in that?

Since you're starting from Square 1 again, and it'll take some time to work up to Dangerous cheats or no cheats, then you might as well go ahead and re-fly those missions.

Look at it this way: You're going into it not as an ignorant Jameson, but rather carrying the experience of your "past life" with you so you know what to expect. You'll be a better combateer this time around.
Running Oolite buttery smooth & rock stable w/ tons of eyecandy oxps on:
ASUS Prime X370-A
Ryzen 5 1500X
16GB DDR4 3200MHZ
128GB NVMe M.2 SSD (Boot drive)
1TB Hybrid HDD (For software and games)
EVGA GTX-1070 SC
1080P Samsung large screen monitor

I've started re-building the personnage, setting same money and last status.

True, but you may also remember how long and repetitive is the work to complete Ionics mission. I'll really prefere to travel into new experiences...

If you have already finished Ionics and don't want to replay it, what is the point of having it set as completed in the save file? Just don't install it or remove it

Yes? This wil not influence other missions?

It shouldn't. Ionics is, I believe, self-contained and doesn't rely on other missionpacks.

No, just remove it, or leave it in when you want to see an occasional ship from Ionics appear. Just one but: Ionics only adds these ships in G2. When in an other Galaxy you better remove the oxp completely.
