Problem with shaders

I try to use the griff's OXPs and i don't understand why i don't see any change. All OXP i put in my Addon folder work.
To exclude bad influences by other OXP I try to left only the griff_coriolis_normalmapped.oxp in my AddOn folder but the Coriolis stations are always the same.
I use Oolite 1.73.3 installed by the .package autoinstaller on Ubuntu 9.04.
My video card is a Sapphire HD 2600 Pro AGP and the fglrx driver downloaded from ATI website works well with all games i have installed, but is the first time i try to play a game using shaders so i have a lot of doubts.
I check if the openGL extensions needed are present and seem all ok.

Suggestion?

Are we sure that the Griff Coriolis completely replaces the original one? It might be that it just adds itself in the pool of available stations to choose from and you may see it appearing in a system other than the one you are currently on.

If the Griff Coriolis has an entry for demoships.plist, then you can try this: Leave only the Coriolis OXP in, then start the game. When the original rotating Coriolis appears, press the left arrow. You should see the first OXP ship that has entries in demoships, which will be the Griff Coriolis. If you can see it there, then the game has already acknowledged its existence.

Griffs stations are not yet replacing the internal ones, but are just added to the pool of stations. Griff is working on code to suppress the internal ships. That will reduce the pool to only oxp stations. I added this code myself and for me I now see mainly Griffs stations. I am sure Griff will include this kind of code in his future uploads.

Hello, i just checked the griff_coriolis oxp and it doesn't have the extra shipdata-overrides.plist in it to make it replace the default station completely, it also doesn't have a demoships.plist so it won't appear on the demo screen either, i'll get this fixed this evening and re-upload the oxp.
At the moment you might have to try flying around a few systems to find a griff_coriolis.
the other normal mapped ships have demoship.plists in them, so if you add a few of them back you should see them appear on the demo screen - they should also replace the built in versions too.

edit: yep, as eric says :D for some reason i forgot to do the coriolis, i'll get that fixed this evening

However, you could try the PAGroove stations. Those replace the normal Oolite stations. (In the Ooniverse, not on the "Load New Commander?" screen.)

It's Ok. I can see all the ships.
Thank to all.
