Question for Twitterers...

Post by DaddyHoggy »

For those who tweet:

As part of my "work" with John Chapman (beer drinking X-wing Pilot and author of Jonnie Rocket) I jokingly suggested that as Jonnie already has Facebook page and Myspace account, he should probably Tweet about his adventures too (all done by me of course).

John C thinks this is a good idea and I have offered to investigate the possibility of doing this but I have some issues.

Jonnie Rocket is an imaginary character and although I can't find anything in Twitter's "rules" I just wanted to check if anybody knows if this is allowed.

There are no copyrights to breach since John C is the creator of Jonnie Rocket and I would be using the name with his blessing (and encouragement).

Are there any other examples of imaginary people/things Tweeting?

Am I completely insane? (No need to answer that - it's a rhetorical question)

Yes. Off the top of my head, the cast of Questionable Content, and the cast of The Big Bang Theory. There are also people writing Twitter novels.

Thanks - as you can see (and thanks for following) I've jumped in with both of my imaginary feet! 8)
