I prefer the Boa Class Cruiser. Is that what you referred to when you typed "Boa 2"?

Yeah - the ship called the "Boa 2 Class Cruiser" and has a paint job saying "Boa 2"

The BCC is the smarter option, but the PCC has the cool paintjob and the bucket seats ...

It's also 150k cheaper.
Also, the PCC is .04 lm faster than the bcc.
What are the serious advantages of the boa 2?

PCC has reduced cargo capacity, fewer missile pylons, fewer energy banks (but a faster recharge rate) and is an OXP only ship. But it has a greater top speed and a lower price-tag.

Boa Class Cruiser has better roll and pitch manuvering rates, more cargo and energy capacity (with a slightly lower recharge rate), an additional missile pylon and is available without installing OXP's. The higher cost and more sedate styling may not appeal to everyone.

Both are good ships for fighting & trading. The differences are more about emphasizing certain traits to meet owner preferences.

I think I'll go with the PCC as I really am looking for a budget ship, and at the shipyard I most recently visited, a boa 2 was 640k.

BoaCC better for fighting -- i complete all missions in that

BUT the PCC has VERY COOL external view through scoop underneath, superb for any cloaked activities, best of any ship I think.

Still prefer the boa for handling though, and for earning.

Yeah - extended research (including hacking a savegame to have a pcc) has lead me to decide the other way, for the BCC, as the python's price doesn't make up for the fact that besides the sharky paint job, the pcc is pretty ugly compared to a simonb boa2.
