Mark Transponder Scanner

In my haste I got the Mark Transponder Scanner damaged.
Where can it be repaired?
It remains listed in eqpt. list; does it still work?

I think you'll either need to find a Hacker Outpost (Anarchies OXP I'm reliably informed) or Thargoid's Repair Nanobot thingies...

The nanobots won't repair it, as it's OXP equipment, and LB didn't ask for it to be included (so it isn't). Without the blueprints in their system they can't fix it...

But as far as I remember is is self repairing when you need it.

If damaged, the transponder's own bots fix it, so it should be showing still as undamaged on your F5 Screen.
EDIT : Should also add that once you have the Scanner, it is unpluggable, so if you change ships having aquired it, it will change ships with you.

It is only available when you download the "Assassins" oxp & then accept the missions...
It idents your assassination target.
Assassins takes place in Gal 7 btw, a top notch oxp & well worth doing.
By the time you get to gal 7 you should have a decent ship with an Iron ass & be able to hold your own in battle- you need to....
