These messages are VERY annoying.
Any tips, anybody.

I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

Its a known bug on 1.65, so to really fix it you'd need to update to 1.72.2. All you can really do on 1.65 is switch views. flick between front and rear for a few seconds and they get shunted away.

I've gone on to 1.72.2.

It's already there, Download section, under "Test releases and source code". There is a link in this section that takes you straight to the Berios' Files page.
