What does the white hole do? I was playing Oolite recently and I spotted a white hole. When I flew up to one I died almost immediately. Was that because of the white hole or from something else?

Hmm ... assuming you didn't fly into a sun, I think we need more information: I've never seen a white hole! Can you describe it? Do you have Orbs.oxp installed, by any chance?

It must be one of:
Star,
Planet (unlikely),
Q-wave,
something from an OXP (unlikely),
some as yet unknown bug probably related to a graphics driver.

Oppersite of a black hole,

I am totally sure. It was small and showed up on the scanner as white hole, then I immediately exploded. Could it be from some oxp? I do in fact have orbs.oxp installed.

sounds like a q-mine to me.
The only astronmic bodies I am aware of are, erm, well the pulsar.

The orb contains dozens of wrong definitions. And yes it contains white bodies when remembering well. I removed it after a day as it only crashed Oolite with me, so I don't remember many details of it.

Thanks, I removed Orbs.oxp; I hope it gets fixed 'cause it seemed kind of interesting.

The author of orbs is no longer really active. I think it will be a long time before anyone fixes it.
