Oolite Bulletins

Have read in a couple of posts that commanders often use the tactic of alternating between lasers once one overheats.

I've tried this, but my laser temp remains the same whatever laser I use. Is there an OXP for this, or am I just using too older a version of oolite? Don't know which exact version I'm using 'cos on different computer to that which I play oolite on now, but think I installed circa August 2007.

Back in 2007? That must be a rather old version. 1.72.2 is the latest 'beta', but it works pretty well and is pretty stable. You can get the latest release here.

OK! seems I must have been mistaken about the laser temp being constant no matter which laser you cycle to - just testing, and seems the temps are independent of each other...

...really don't know where I got the idea they weren't from... Oh well...
