I am searching for either "Griff's Kraits" oxp or the shader termed "stingray.fragment".

If someone could point me into the right direction, I'd be pleased.

the griff krait* is here
http://wiki.alioth.net/index.php/Griff_Krait
but that shader isn't part of it, what oxp is it missing from? i could take a look at it to see if the griff_krait shader would work with the oxp with a small bit of rename-ification

*although there's another griff krait in the 'ruining the classics' thread

Hi Griff,

it's from the stingray oxp. It got updated and I integrated the updated version instead of the old one into OSE (future RS) and noticed that a shader file was missing.

I have now attempted to replace the "stingray.fragment" shader with the core-inbuilt "oolite-default-shader.fragment" by renaming the former in the shipdata plist to the latter and hope that this is going to work out?!?

Could there be a problem with that (using another default shader)?

from a quick look at shaders part of the shipdata.plist in the oxp and the texture maps it looks like the missing fragment shader should be using the alpha channel to add a glow map to the ship, i'll ammend one of the griff_krait shaders to do that and i'll post up for you to add to the oxp - having said that, the alpha channel seems to be in the wrong place in the texture map, it doesn't seem to match up with the areas you expect to be glowing (such as the cockpit window) so it might look a bit odd
edit: it's my eyes that are faulty, the alpha channel placement was fine

Thanks very much CaptKev, now your originally intended shader has been included into the OSE Stingray version(s) also.
