If music is licensed as "cc", does that mean that it may be used in an oxp if the author is named and it stays "cc"?

Well, checking the license, it had the same type as the other music packs, so I'd assume as long as the artist is credited, and the album isn't indeed sold for profit, it'd be alright.

Yupp. Just checked the source (Jamendo.com) and the license is CC-by-nc-sa-3.0 so everything should be fine. Nice one bacontube :-) And not every CC-license can be used for a musicpack. E.g. Non-derivative (nd) licensed songs shouldn't be included to avoid legal issues. So it's necessary to check these things.
Not all files in the other packs have the same license (CC-by-nc-2.0, CC-by-nc-sa-3.0, CC-Sampling Plus-1.0,...). But this info is listed on the WIKI and in the readme .-) Additionally I've sent the authors a short note to say thank you :-)

To stop a long long long thread everytime I add a music pack, just check the wiki here and there, as they will appear there.
Currently there are 2 up by me. The techno pack, and an Ambient/Psychedelic one. Expect a proper classical one soon, and a fantasy themed one.

I noticed that the Ambient packs are currently not available for download.
Were they on megaupload?
Anyway, should I reupload them somewhere? Or does someone else want to do that?

Unless there is a reason not to then by all means please do so Corny.

Well, I can't edit in the wiki, and I don't know if mediafire is much better. So here are the links to both packs, maybe someone can upload it to his box.net or smth. In any case, I still need someone to put it on the wiki.

Thanks, Corny, I updated the Wiki page. The files are too big for box.com, so they will have to stay on MediaFire for now (I don't have any idea though if MediaFire removes downloads after a time).

If you are requesting an item which is covered by copyright, forget it. This forum is
very careful to avoid abusing anyone's copyright; understandable given the nature of the forum. If you are
knowingly requesting copyright-protected material, many of the web fora I use would temporarily or even permanently ban a user making such a request, but that's possibly because they are all related to software development.
If you are requesting something you know can be shared, I am sure
Google will be your friend.
