Big ship fight... v. cool!

Post by Rebecca »

having managed to get the RS oxp working on my pc... commander deville scourge of the spaceway etc.... had a massive fight with a navy condor last night and emerged victorious!!!

very impressive the graphics on that ship .... and the fight was awesome... it fired about 20+ missiles at me which followed me around whilst i was using the fuel injectors... managed to kill it after about ten minutes... and not resorting to a qbomb... my favourite weapon atm...

Commander DeVille is rumoured to be at Ceesxe now... admiring all that a tech level 15 planet has to offer by way of kool kit and sexy ships... 8)

Now that is an impressive feat for sure! The Condors can withstand horrifying punishment, and surviving the onslaught of their chain missile launchers can be quite taxing.

Right On, Commander!

:D

Yeah...sometimes I can shoot one down with 4 mil lasers (full circle) and sometimes I do that round 3-4 times and nothing happens but the Condor coming close enough to fire it's cannons...either I have to injector away or press space. It's also very nicely possible to destroy them subentity by subentity

Some can take so many hits without showing damage that I prefer to run away instead of going to safe distance and keep shooting ;)

I nearly always go for the Condors, Constitutions and anything big when I see them.

I don't think that hint will remain valid from the next version onwards...

That assumption is correct - not even (another hint) onwards from the Realistic Shipyards Upgrade (containing some OSE teaser stuff) upcoming in a month or so ... 8)
