'Cape of Good Hope'! It all feels so 19th century! Have you had a chance to go to Table Mountain?
If not, beg steal & lie to get there! You won't regret it!

Why should there only be aliens and UFOs over england?
However, I still fail to see why a few old tanks should make it possible to claim that this is torchwood he's working at. Less than 5km from here was MBB where I was working as trainee for two weeks during school time. It was possible to touch Cobras there, and in some rooms there were cans with this "radioactivity" symbol on it. Oh, yes, and they didn't exchange wheels from Transall machines where the first layers of textile were run through, as they claimed these would still work for another landing or two...and if not, they'd not sit in there
Thus...tanks and torchwood...I fail to see the link
I'd rather expect that strange german "meteorite hunter" who got a hell lot of money for finding a few grams of a meteorite in denmark after watching a video from sweden work for some cover-up agency. I fail to see how that guy could have identified such little bits of rock from recordings of so far away and I also fail to see why it should give so much money that he could make such a thing a profession...

@Kaks - made it to the top of Table Mountain a few hours before I had to catch my flight out. Utterly amazing.
@Screet - we also have some new/current kit too - Challenger 2, AS90, Jackal, Warrior (and one for Ahruman - Swedish S-Tank).
But, I still don't work at Torchwood....
@Becka the Hermit Slayer -
- A conference on "distance learning" - South Africa is a reasonable mid point between most of the world's major Defence Acadamies and Colleges (UK, NL, USA, Malaysia and Australia) and of course South Africa has its own Defence Academy so they hosted.

But don't you dare to sell the cascaded corpses from Tionisla as valuable hermit meat!
