and ive not got 4 of the things.... might need to think about exterminating them!

1) Don't buy Trumbles, even from reputable chaps like Captain Hesperous.

2) Fly towards the sun until the Trumbles expire from overheating.

3) Jump to another system before you and your ship expire from overheating.

At least you got that pod. I didn't knew that it was possible to do that until I read it few days ago

About the "jump away" hint - you can also use your injectors to speed away. With a fast ship, a ride through the planets atmosphere is also enough...and then it's possible to keep the heat for a long duration at the desired level without overheating the ship, very useful when theres a big horde of trumbles aboard
