Got offered a pet when i went to some planet yesterday.. so now i have a lil fuzzy thing wondering around my screen... is there any point to it other than just floating around?

You have to ask Captain Hesperus, he's an expert for pet-keeping, they say
One could say he
nurses them along, too ...

I guess you are talking about trumbles. Apart from being cute they will be a bit of a nuisance soon. As I don't want to spoil any surprises I suggest you search for the term "trumbles" on this board if you're fed up with them!

I for one have kept my pet trumble that is not multiplying any more and which I even resurrected once via the first, last and only direct modification of my for-usual-play savegame ever.
Even gets a ton of foods regularly to keep it happy & alive.
For the nuisance part, though, you're going to find out soon enough ... why my trumble has been staying single for such a long in-game and out-game time I have no idea.
We could even have a trumble-tamagotchi contest about pet trumbles.
Cheers to a fellow trumble-holder

Just fly a bit zig-zag when it blocks your sight. Those creatures are very interesting when flying long distances as trader. It gives you something to kill the time with. But don't kill anything else than time please.

I always find that they look much too sad! Maybe their images should have an emotion upgrade
Look at what happens if you scoop up escape pods, shreddies, narcotics, liquor and such stuff while being trumbled:

I say kill it. Kill it with fire.
And then eat it with eleven herbs and spices.
Just my suggestion, sponsored by LFT.
Hey ...you have a Morrigan! Nice ship.

lave fried trumble
bet they taste like chicken! can you get popcorn trumbles?
Yeah, in space there's always midnight somewhere
They just like to eat...everything, including slaves and radioactives!
I didn't think of popcorn though...might have been a cheap way for a new taste! Maybe I should have fed them with some tons of raw maize and pepperoni before heating them up....popcorn filled trumbles, the newest in mexican food
