Oolite Bulletins

As requested somewhere on the board, version 1.3 of sell_equipment.oxp allows you now to resell the Rock Hermit Locator. I consider the list of resellable equipment complete with this one. Therefore 1.3 is the final release, if nothing in the scripting part of it changes. Other than that it's identical to the previous version 1.2.

The OXP can be downloaded from the  Elite Wiki.

EDIT: now in version 1.5 which fixes a possible exploit.

New version (1.5) released. Please download via  the Wiki.

This fixes an exploit where you can make money from selling your large cargo bay without it actually being removed under certain circumstances.

Sell_equipment is on my personal list of "must-have-oxps" so I´m very glad that this .oxp is regularly maintained.

Now this common package is available within the game in the expansion manager.
Although not exactly an equipment, it is within the Equipment category.

A vital necessity for boiling your intelligent kettle while playing Oolite - and it should even tell you the temperature of your kettle water, too. Wildeblood was waxing lyrical about this several months ago (he felt that knowledge of the temperature of his kettle water was a matter of urgent necessity!).

Есть дополнение, галерея, ведёт статистику по всем встречам, показывает количество всех объектов в OOlite и организовывает выставки! Вот это устройство, с помощью которого можно вертеть корабли на этих выставках. Устройство можно купить. Продать это устройство невозможно.

The translator translated it as a piece of household equipment - hence my reference to Wildeblood's kettle!

I'd not realised that it was Gallery which you were referring to, sorry!

The problem with taking this approach is that there would never be an end to the updates, because there would always be one more mod that hasn't included a "sell" option and would need to be included here.

Which is one reason why the Equipment Storage mod was created. You can sell any item you have stored there, including things like "EQ_SALON_CONTROL". Yes, there's a 100cr fee to set up your account, but it works for everything, whether a "sell" item is available or not. Move the equipment item to storage, and then sell it.
