For all new commanders the clock starts at 2084004. My own commander is now at 2084995, as you can see in the screenshot above.

What about you?

EDIT: Can an administrator change the last option to '2085464 and above'? The board messed up here. Thanks!
So I should use the last option although it's far away from the 2086087 I'm getting for my commander which is flying since early december 2008?

Maybe I should convince that oxp-creator that the victory bonds do have to be paid for as soon as I manage to get 25 years on that clock? ;)

You have an automatic get out clause for not keeping canon to the Elite Universe. Quite simply this isn't the Elite Universe, it's a very similar Ooniverse. ;)

Wasn't me, I would have blasted down Hesperus ~ 20km out!
I shot him back first. That is to say, I read his mind and fired before he would have fired on me. No, sir, he wasn't a fugitive.

I know it wasn't you. You have trouble distinguishing a Boa from an Anaconda (and truth from fiction too, perhaps). 8)

Hesperus commands a rusty old derelict of a battered Python that for the grace of Lord Giles and the talents of the onboard engineer, just manages the thrust to move. If you need to be that close to get a hit on that poor wreck, then let me point you to the nearest optical center.

Nonetheless, I would advise not taking potshots at the Dubious Profit. Hesperus, for all his quirkiness, is rather well liked around these parts, and more than likely would be swiftly and mercilessly avenged.

Well, that's if he's pointed at or away from me. Side on, maybe 30km.
