A secondary line in trading - oobay?

Having done this for YAH:
I had a thought - that I cannot implement because I cannot model or script, so I offer it up to the commoonity.
Oobay:
By purchasing and installing the Oobay trading computer it does two things.
1) It modifies your Augmented Reality overlay on your cockpit display and scanner to identify all those little bits of potentially useful bits of kit that are "liberated" from a starship when its cracked open and modifies your fuel scoop to accept what would normally be rejected as detritus.
2) It installs the Oobay market place system in your hold that when you successfully sell a piece of "slightly used"/"fire damaged"/"laser scorched - cosmetic only" equipment to the highest bidder it deals with all that complicated postage and packaging niff-naff and trivia - so you don't need to worry about involving your local UPS/FedOox/Ookmail/Oops courier service.
So, what I'm proposing is that when a ship is blown apart, not only do you get cargo pods, you could also get:
Drive Thruster Manifolds, Inertial damping plates, Commander's Chair, Life support system, docking computer, main gyro, etc, etc... {which obviously would all need modelling}
Once in your hold, you then offer them up on Oobay and sell them (or not - in which case you must eject them into space) - of course while the bidding is going on you need to keep this kit in your hold thus taking up valuable cargo space - now that slightly singed AAK-9473-B Life Support System from a Cobra Mk1 might go for 0.1Cr or 500Cr depending on if anybody out in the Oobay market place actually wants it when you happen to be selling it. {Which of course all needs scripting}
So, my fellow Ooliters, as I can't do any of this on my own, what do you think? Doable? And if yes, do you want it?
