I am starting to make my own stuff but I have a question...

I am using Plistedit Pro and cannot make any changes stick, what am i doing wrong???

Eg:changing the max speed of an Anaconda
Or the cargo capacity of an Adder...

Once I have this figured then I can start writing my own.

Easy. Hold Shift while starting up Oolite after you have changed and saved your plist.

Or, just in case the culprit is somewhere else, and you are trying to modify the plists in Oolite itself: Don't do it! First, they are write-protected. And second, it is much better to make a copy of them, place it in your AddOns folder, and only then start playing with them. In that case the originals will still be there and intact, just in case you are doing something wrong.

And third, it’s quite nice to still have your plists after you upgrade Oolite. :-)

And fourth, watch out that these private plist are still valid after you upgrade Oolite and don't overwrite the new improvements.
