Hub Count

Just been looking the planet/system stats in the plists, ie fuedal, mainly ind, tech level etc but what is the hub count?
& what does a high or low count mean?
I've done a search but nothing answers my question...

i would imagine that hub count means how many other systems is within 7 ly range of the particular system

Yep, sorry that I never found anywhere to explain it. And the numbers in { } for each planet are the id number for other systems within 7 LY range, counting from 0, ie Lave is #7.
