We've given our 1yr old our flashing light/crashing waves relaxation gadget to help her sleep (it seems to work).

Tonight I noticed some amazing effects it throws up on the wall and I wondered if it (they - I've taken about a dozen at various angles) are any good to anybody (scaled to 1024x768 for photobucket but originally 2560x1920) - as I'm the world's worst at not actually doing oxps (other than contributing to YAH - which inspires others to go off and do other oxps)

Anyway, here is an example image (the ball is not in every shot)

looks like the sort of nebula you get from dieing stars ejecting matter, just a little to blueish beams that extends.. the first "center" part just next to the ball could fit in nicely though...

:D :D :D :D

Actually, it would be cool if you found a planet like this in some lonely part of the universe like a remote constellation, as part of a "it's life but not as we know it Jim" style mission

Looks like another spurious so-called "orb" so-called "sighting" to so-called "me"...

If it were a planet, the brightly coloured ball reminds me of 'Solaris' in the George Clooney film (see the bottom of the DVD cover)....
