Looks fantastic. I'm slightly distracted by the "viking" with the "Cor blimey, stone the crows" London accent. He sounds about as Scandinavian as Alan Sugar.

reminds me of when an American, at the beach at a lake, asked me, after we had chatted a bit about the city i live in
"Do you know any vikings"....
i was like.. what the he.. now.. stay polite or laugh up into his face, and educating him a bit on history...
I know there is people whorshipping the Ase Gods (means "of the gods") and we call them Asers.. but not Vikings who invade and slaughter rape and murder. which is what (going viking) means... but it could also be just to trade but still (going viking). uhmm reminds me of Oolite

Very good story, Frame! I'm surprised that you didn't say "Well actually, some Vikings live right next-door to me...."
