Oolite Shipyards Extension V1.0 Development

Work on the Realistic Shipyards successor has begone.

This is an in-bet-ween version: There are diverse things I want to do with future Realistic Shipyards. But as this version already has all the serious bugs that can appear in-game repaired, I thought it might make sense to publish this now and the rest later. Enjoy!

The differences between V3.01 and V3.02 are:
The roles problems have all been fixed.
* No more fugitive or offender police who don`t note your legal record correctly ... no more non-police ships that show on the scanner as police. Now, if it looks police, it is police.
* Pirates now usually have normal bounty (15-35 Cr) awarded by the game. Only pirates with very powerful ships have special and high bounties. No more cheat-bounties inherited from merged oxps. No more non-scoundrels with bounties.
* Shuttle role removed from all unfitting/too big/too powerful ships.
* All scavenger & miner ships now have the nescessary equipment and cargo hold to scavenge and mine.
* Ships now have weapon energies that are fitting with their size and purpose.
Graphics and models collisions Realistic Shipyards produced within itself and related conflicts with other oxps have been repaired.
* A conflict with the Behemoth oxp resolved that lead to the carrier having a displaced back.
* Bizarrely placed Grass Snake exhaust position fixed.
* Graphics problems with Urutu MkIV & Tribant Trader fixed.
Some errors in ship pricing and in the ship stats databank have been corrected.
* Lampyris and the Benulobiweed ships have had some stats and price/TL errors corrected.
* Shortened the player version name of Witchspace Lobster Worshipper to "Holy Deca-Pod".
New ship oxps have been included in the ship pricing/availability rewrite.
* The new player ship from the Vector oxp.
* The five new player ships from the Pirate Clan One oxp.
Miscallenous ...
* There are now NPC Firefly ships, as originally intended.
* The NPC Deep Space Dredger is now placed into systems more realistically.
* Ballturrets were put directly into Realistic Shipyards until Oolite 1.72 comes out, so as to remove a dependency on the Behemoth oxp.
* NPC carriers now have smaller NPC ships docking and undocking from their docking ports.
* Carriers and (very) big traders have been given big, fitting missile racks of ecm-proofed missiles, so as to avert the "very lucrative sitting duck target" situation.
* Diverse texture & model lower/highercase conflicts solved that led to Oolite not finding some ships on case-sensitive systems.
Stderr error reports have been fixed.
* The FueltankAI.plist had a deprecated command, fixed.
* The SWATCondorAI.plist had deprecated commands, fixed.
* CmsAI.plist & NmsAI.plist had deprecated commands, fixed.
* "Attempt to create ship of type "xyz", but no such type could be found" - error messages should be a thing of the past.

For those new to RS: What Realistic Shipyards V3.02 actually does is ...
More diversity added to the core game:
* Consistent ship prices & tech levels for ALL ships available in Oolite (strict and oxps)
* Game balance & strategic elements concerning ships enhanced
* Includes 85 merged ship oxps and the Fuel Tank oxp (made by other authors than me)
* Eight player ships for veteran players and a new high-tech equipment & shipyards facility not available in any other oxp
* In total, 190 playable ships & about 500 NPC ships
* Ship roles have been altered for more diversity - and provide a much harder Ooniverse, with de facto whole new classes of ships!
* Contains a complete ship stats databank for ALL buyable ships of strict mode and ALL oxp ships available in the game!
More diversity in the possible game careers:
* Various alternate career beginnings for mostly harmless Jamesons: Sell your Cobra MkIII for a cheaper ship at Lave or Zaonce - and have the cash to buy some equipment & get going faster ...
* Enhanced gameplay for medium range (Poor to Dangerous) players: An Iron Ass (fully kitted Cobra MkIII) is no longer enough - now there is always a bigger fish, and you will really need those scanners to know what`s coming for you before it`s too late ...
* Creative solution to the uber-ship problem for the deadly veteran players: Now you can earn one, and with the challenges waiting for you, you will need it. Because so can the others ...
* It`s not over when you reach ELITE: Only now can you play with the really big boys, and spectacular spacebattles await!
