Hello there,

Can anyone tell me the location of the saved games?
I have installed Oolite on my new laptop and don't want to start it over from the beginning.

Thanks

Saved games are located in <Oolite_Root_Dir>\oolite.app\oolite-saves, where <Oolite_Root_Dir> is whatever location you have installed Oolite at (default is C:\Program Files\Oolite).

@Mr Morder: Just for the record, uninstalling Oolite will not remove your saved games or screenshots folder.

Welcome!

Computer/C:/User/YOUR NAME/AppData/Local/VirtualStore/Program Files/Oolite/oolite.app/oolite-saves/

Don't ask. It's a security thing or somesuch.

Multiuser to be more precise, as storing stuff this way enables multiple players to use the same games without destroying each others saved games.

However, I've never encountered people who do share a PC for gaming and having to clean up those dirs after uninstalling a game can really be annyoing, especially if there's several gigabytes in it (some games save way too much info).

Just a little addition for everyone who is still searching: The folders are HIDDEN and thus Vista needs to be set up to show all those files it likes to hide...

If you install to c:\ instead of the default, then the saves are in the oolite.app folder
