Hello, pucara, and Welcome to The Friendliest Boards This Side of Riedquat!

To scoop the containers you need to buy a fuel scoop. I know, the name is misleading, and most people only use it for the flotsam, but it also scoops fuel from the star coronas.

Some of these cargo containers contain valuable commodities like platinum, so scooping is a very profitable excersise, line up the container in the lower half of the window and move towards it at medium to slow speed to begin with, you will find that with practice you will be able to do it at higher speeds. You must have free space in your cargo hold though otherwise you will just dent your shields and scratch the paintwork.

Talking about fast replies; sometimes I wonder if behind these nicknames are humans or just mail-bots answering!

I think they’re some type of levitation coil.

Oh, now that would be a tip-top OXP!! Add an extra 100TC of cargo space to your ship with a trailer. Down-sides are that they drop your top speed by .02LM, are horribly vulnerable to damage (i.e. one good hit and you lose the entire cargo) and really screw your pitch and roll up.

You don't need a laserhit for that, just start your own engines and look in your back mirror what happens. Hmm, maybe it will not burn when using an imperial courier for towing.
