I have been really busy with RL, lately. But it could be cool to start a new side-project when I get some time: do you have something in mind in particular? I think it would be nice if you did some for Griff's older models, esp. the fighters. Griff's Ophidian, Merlin etc. (and even the remade FdL & Cobras) tend to have 'crisper' textures that fit with yours very well (meaning that there's less of a need to retexture).
Personally speaking I think a ship you haven't worked on would be preferable but of course, wherever inspiration takes you is likely to be good
