Debug errors - what they are!

I know there's a topic called "Problems with the board", but I can't reply to that, and I know how to fix it (if you don't know already).

EDIT: Sorry, I now remember that this error means that the message is posted but errors after that point... I could have tagged this on the end after all.

The reason for the debug error is that someone has set that they want to be notified when a topic is updated (a new post made).

I'm getting that error in the Rough Guide to the Ooniverse topic and the Forum errors topic, but it will happen on every topic that has a notification flag.

To get rid of it,

- all users could be asked to ensure that they have no active notifications.

- the admin will have go through the database and reset the notification options for each user and/or topic so that no notifications are sent

- (RECOMMENDED) The admin will have to reset the board's email configuration. as follows:

1: In the ACP, click on the Configuration option.
2: Scroll down to the bottom - the last section is Email Settings.
3: "Use SMTP server for Email" will probably be set to NO. Change this to YES and enter the valid SMTP server settings that can be used to send email from this server.
4: Click Submit.

Until one of the above is done, the board will have problems with PMs too.
