On galaxy 7 there is an area in the bottom left corner that appears to be beyond the 7 light year jump. Is there any way of getting to it? I have a mission from random hits that requires me to get there.

Ah, the pocket-Galaxy calamity.... I'd forget that hit if I were you, you'd not earn enough Credits for it to be worth the cost of getting there.

What you'd need to do is Gal-jump to G6 (going through G8-5, obviously) and then Gal-jumping from the bottom left-hand corner of G6 to get there. Now, unless the hit pays more than Cr40,000 (the cost of eight Galactic Hyperdrives!), I'd let it slip.

There is no way you can reach that cluster on G7 with 1.70. Even jumping from the lower left hand corner of G6 will position you on the side of the reachable planets when you arrive on G7.

With 1.71 and later, there will be a possibility to do it, but right now it is impossible.

Oops sorry. I thought I'd set up Random Hits to not offer missions at unreachable clusters. If you had entered the G7 cluster from making a Jump from the same position in G6 then you would be able to do the mission but taking the mission in an anarchy within the cluster. However if you took the mission from outside the cluster there is no way to reach it to do the mission.

In theroy you could do it by making a round trip of the Galaxies (at a cost of 30,000 Credits!), but once you leave G7 the mission will be scrubbed. There's no penalty for doing this, but you won't be able to do this mission as there's no way to get there from your current location.
