I have been sent to lequteor (Gal 4) to speak to a contact about a mystery ship but there is no one there
Am I missing something, is there a separate shipyard or something

which mission is this part of? One of the inbuilt ones or one from an OXP?

I Think it's the Trident down oxp
I say "think" because I started it about 2 months ago and when i couldn't meet my contact I moved on. I have now done full circle and am having another go. Unfortunately my memory is not what it was

It is indeed the Trident Down OXP. You're OK to dock anywhere in Lequteor to meet your contact. If you've had the OXP running for a while you should have triggered everything. If you open your savegame in a text editor and do a search for trident_down you should find a variable - let me know what it is and I'll get you on the right track without spoiling anything.
Also, I did an update a couple of months ago that fixed something in this area so try downloading v0.4 if you haven't already done so.

all i can find is
mission_trident_down
LEQUTEOR1A
mission_trident_down_jumpcount
113
and
Trident_Down
Ask your new contact on Lequteor if he can identify the ship in the Raceedat security image.
I am using V 0.4
thanks

Strange - maybe there was a clash with another mission screen and the script didn't progress properly - there is a fix for this but I haven't got around to applying it yet. If you change LEQUTEOR1A to LEENOR7 this should reset things and bring up the correct screen once you dock in Lequteor.

funny you should say that
when I first arrived there I had a UPS package to drop there
perhaps it was that. I'll alter the file and let you know
Thanks

Trident down - is that finished / released? I thought I had all the mission OXPs (and had them all done apart from military fiasco, spyhunter, lovecats, last bit of UPS and the new your murder here).
<googles />
aha -

You better believe it Hoopy! Finishing TD wore me out of OXP-ing for a bit - I don't know how the other guys manage to keep knocking out such good stuff all the time - but I'm slowly getting back into it.

i'm hoping i get to elite before i run out of OXP missions but it's going to be tight as I'm only on 3600 ish kills and there's not many missions left. I must use the energy bomb more often and hope the 'collateral damage' doesn't mind too much

Or pay the Tionisla Orbital Graveyard another visit... (I know, I said that before

You haven't missed anything, it's just that this is where things start getting really devious. Think about what the guys at Korshkov told you about the test, and try to follow in its tracks. You may need to do some research on the Wiki.
Sorry to be vague - besides, I've been at work while you've been having fun in Ontesoge!
