It drains battery alot since linux doesnt have proper power management. I get about 30 mins max.

You peeps out there constantly amaze me with your ingenuity. I've got an old valve radio in the loft, takes a while to warm up, I wonder if Charlie could do a conversion on it.

Once Charlie'd finished with it, it'd probably sit up and beg, fetch the newspaper and curl up around your feet by the fire. Nothing seems impossible for that man.

That can't be Oolite - unless the iPod has openGL support!
Does Oolite have a wireframe mode?

No...I haven't been paying attention recently.
I saw the wireframe thread now though.
Mind you, having said all that I know that the Series 40 Nokia phones have OpenGL support, so it's feasible that iPods might be able to cope with OpenGL...

Only the iPod touch, and only OpenGL|ES (which has some limitations that would complicate porting).
