Lasers

Is there any reason why laser and weapons could not be moved to be handled by plists? From a cursory examination of the code there are 3
aspects:

Cross Hairs, Laser Blast Graphics, Game Variable updates.

The first 2 could be standard roles - they could even possibly be parameterised to allow customisation - though that would be a phase 2 options. The 3rd would sit nicely as a plist - with the damage and laser heating parameterised.

I think I could make that mod, is there any thing I have missed or any reason not to try?

As far as I am concerned, go ahead! Contributions are always welcome, and if it is a step towards more customization possibilities, so more influence for me as a scripter, I like it. :D :wink:

If you are missing something obvious that makes this impossible, I am sure Ahruman will let you know soon enough.

It looks like a simple change, but I know that in a real world system, there's no such thing...
